How we help.
RMA work with organisations to conduct Risk Management Review. In many instances, this process involves developing a Risk Management Framework and Organisational Risk Profile from ground up.
In other cases, organisations request RMA to conduct an independent review of their existing systems and structure currently in place to manage risk. Typically, ERM projects have two core area of focus and deliverables. These are;
Develop / Update the Organisational Risk Profile
Develop / Update the ERM Framework
RMA concentrate on aspects including risk management governance, reporting, practices and documentation including standards, procedures, tools, templates, reports etc. ERM Risk Review projects will vary in size and scope requiring preliminary scoping and briefing to agree outputs, milestones and targets.
Typically, ERM consulting projects will involves:
Structured interviews with key stakeholders
Risk Validation Workshop(s)
Through a combination of the above, RMA are able to focus on understanding and analysing the key organisations critical value drivers to ensure the organisation’s objectives, stakeholders and internal/ external influencing factors are clearly reflected in it’s risk plan. RMA will conduct an ERM Framework maturity assessment on the current status of risk management.
This will include commentary where the existing framework deviates from Best Practice (ISO 31 000) and where performance gaps and areas for improvement have been identified. RMA will identify any discrepancy in organisation requirements and provide appropriate improvement recommendations and system enhancements to move current activities towards best practice.
